Leh Ladakh, Manali and Rohtang Pass Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Your trip to Ladakh starts as you reach Delhi airport and embark on a flight to Leh. Upon arrival, meet our tour representative, who will assist you with a guided transfer to the pre-decided hotel. Check in at the hotel and savor a delicious breakfast; the rest of the day is at your leisure. Next, you are free to go out and explore the surroundings. Otherwise, it is suggested that you unwind yourself to get acclimatized to the place well. Finally, in the evening, visit the markets in Leh to buy souvenirs.

An overnight stay is planned at the hotel.
Day 2
Start day 2 of the Ladakh with Himachal tour with a hearty breakfast. After that, brace yourself for a road trip to the Sham Valley. Famous for the Sham Valley Trek, the place is a window to the traditions and culture of the Ladakhi villages.

Halt at the Likir Monastery to witness a 23-meter high statue of Maitreya Buddha. The next attraction is the Alchi Monastery, where you can marvel at the 1000-year-old murals. The attractions you will be exploring today also include the Hall of Fame and Magnetic Hill, where you can defy the laws of gravity.
Day 3
Wake up early and have breakfast. Then, check out and proceed to the Nubra Valley. The route to the valley lets you pass by the Khardung La, one of the highest passes in Ladakh. From the top, enjoy the natural beauty of snow-capped mountains. Next, go on an excursion to the Sumoor village, a beautiful hamlet offering the ultimate camping experience. Lying close to the Nubra Valley, you can either stay in a camp here or choose to visit Diskit for the same.
Day 4
Day 4 of your Ladakh with Himachal trip is reserved for visiting the quaint villages of Hundar and Diskit. Make the most of your holidays as you indulge in a camel safari (at your own cost) by riding on the back of a Bactrian camel found only in Ladakh. These double-humped camels transform your ride into a memorable affair.
Day 5
Wake up early in the morning for breakfast. Move towards Pangong Tso via Chang La. This lake is home to several migratory birds. Afterward, complete the check-in formalities at the tented camps in Spangmik village. Then, if you want, you can return to Tangtse and choose a guest house or a hotel for your comfortable stay.
Day 6
Start day 6 of Ladakh with the Shimla Manali tour with a delicious breakfast. Delight in the journey back to Leh. En route, you will come across the Indus River when you enter Karu.
Day 7
Satiate your hunger with breakfast and head towards Sarchu. But, first, there will be a halt at the Upshi village to visit Hemis and Hundur monasteries. Hosting the annual Hemis Festival honoring Padmasambhava, the monastery is a gem in the crown of Ladakh. Also known as Hundur Gompa, the Hundur Monastery belongs to the Gelugpa (yellow hat) sect of Tibetan Buddhism.
Day 8
Post breakfast, leave for Manali by road crossing the Bara-Lacha La. Savor lunch at Sissu Village. Later on, continue your road trip to Manali, traversing the Rohtang Pass. After reaching, you can either go out to explore the place on your own or sit back to soak in the comforts of your room.
Day 9
Day 9 of your Ladakh Himachal tour is reserved for Manali sightseeing. The first attraction of the day is Hidimba Devi Temple. From there, head towards Jagatsukh. Next, you will visit Vashisht Kund, and while you are here, don't forget to take a tour of the Tibetan Monastery. The handicraft center is also worth exploring. Finally, spend your day taking a walk around the Vashisht village.
Day 10
Proceed to Shimla once you're done with your breakfast. After reaching, complete the check-in formalities at the hotel and relax for a while.

Afterward, you will go on a sightseeing tour, which will start with Jakhoo Temple. The next attraction on the list is Dorje Drak Monastery. After that, call on the Tara Devi Temple.
Day 11
The day is reserved to partake in several fun-filled activities in and around Shimla. Start your day with an outing to Kufri. Then, you can enjoy adventure activities like skiing, trekking or hiking. After filling your heart with thrill and beauty, head towards Mall Road and the Ridge in Shimla. In addition, you can explore the Christ Church and State Library.

Enjoy a night's stay at the hotel.
Day 12
Your Ladakh with Shimla tour ends today. Savor breakfast and head towards Chandigarh. Avail of the guided transfer to the airport or railway station to board a flight or train for your onward journey.
